I watched the show in it's entirety. Doesn't mean I have to agree with the selection committee does it? Makes no sense to me, VT finished ahead of Miami in the regular season, put them out of the ACC Tournament and they still took Miami over them. According to this board playing well at the end of the season is more important. VT on fire at the end of the season, Miami limps in by losing to FSU, beats pitiful NC ST, and gets hammered by the Hokies.
VT had won 5 of their last 7 with the two losses coming by a combined 3 points. Don't know what else you would call that other than being hot at the end of the season. Both loses occurred during the last 5 seconds of the game as well.
the reason VT isnt in is simple
they did not beat one tourney bound team during the regular season
there is no other reason
they didnt get robbed.......they didnt deserve to be in
plain and simple

The thing is 5 out of 7 apparently wasn't good enough. They shoulf have won 7 out of 7 and left no doubt instead of relying on a committee to feel sorry for them.

it doesnt matter if it makes sense.......thats how they do it
secondly......what was meant by being hot late.....is in the ACCT.....kind of like UGA in the SEC
thirdly......miami was getting in the day they beat dook
their overall resume was much better
it doesnt matter if it makes sense to you or not......thats the way it is......deal with it
Let's face it. You can't lose multiple games to .500 teams from mid-majors and expect to get in without winning your conference tourney.
